Hello friends & fellow bloggers (or anyone  really who reads this...)  I am a 20-year-old college student at Regent University. I am studying communications with an emphasis in public relations/ advertising! I am new to this whole blogging thing...so bear with me please! I am an adventurous, outgoing, fun-loving, sociable, people-oriented type of girl! The beach, traveling, photography,  coffee, musicals, people...those are just a few of my favorite things! I live my everyday life, striving to follow in the footsteps of my Lord and Savior! I am committed to living a life full of joy & making sure others know where that joy comes from!

Devotional Psalms 1:1-3 says, (1) “Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. (2) But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. (3) He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.” This is a beautiful passage of scripture because it paints a visual image of a sturdy and fruitful tree planted in a stream of rushing waters. A man (or woman), who does not walk with the wicked or listen to foolish advice, but who instead, studies and pours over the scriptures is like the tree planted in the water. Storms will come, causing rushing waters, and torrential winds, but if the tree is rooted in the stream, it will stay strong and continue to grow.
